Rig Tests represent an efficient way of achieving optimised suspension settings for both road and competition vehicles. Rig tests are carried out routinely by F1 teams and by some Champ teams using their own dedicated multi-post test rigs. Many other race teams use rig tests both to understand their vehicles and to achieve and maintain optimal suspension settings using one of several test facilities that are available commercially.

Rig Tests are being used increasingly to supplement road and track tests for configuring the suspensions of road vehicles (more).

The purpose of this site is to publicise an unrestricted four post rig testing service to manufacturers and race teams. The service comprises technical support during a rig test. It includes the provision of transducers, signal conditioning and sampling equipment, the use of analysis hardware and software during the test, and, if required, advice on suspension settings and likely comparative performance of different suspension set-ups.
